“EFT for Veterans: The Armed Forces Health Conference is the largest gathering of military mental health professionals in the US each year. It has never before featured EFT. This year, however, EFT researcher Dawson Church has been invited to give a presentation on the research results generated by the Iraq Vets Stress Project, which provides EFT to hundreds of veterans each year, free of charge. Dawson will teach EFT workshops before and after the conference, along with EFT trainers Anita Bains and Tracey Middleton, who have both devoted hundreds of hours to treating veterans with PTSD. Anita has just reported that EFT is being used by some Veterans Administration therapists for treatment-resistant PTSD.”
